The Big One 2017

Picture
Sunday 17th December 2017, marked our annual christmas toy run, “THE BIG ONE”. Despite the weather being very cold and wet, we still had a very good turn out,  259 bikers turned up to show their christmas love and generosity! We raised over £1000 along with all the presents and supplies!
This year we were joined by the groups many friends and other local Bike groups, Also joining us on the ride Colin Brown from MAG, MP for selly Oak Steve McCabe and Paul Bohill (From can’t pay? We’ll take it away) and also joining us at Ron Mac House was the the lord mayor of Birmingham Anne Underwood.

The ride left StreetBike at 11am to ride over to drop christmas presents to Birmingham Children's Hospital, then a ride over to Ron Mac House in the pouring rain to drop well needed supplies over to them ready for christmas.

Again Bridgnorth Bikers would like to take this time to thank some people.
Thank you to StreetBike and their staff for letting us use StreetBike as our hub for donations to be kept till the day and also for letting us use the carpark as our start point,  also for the use of their vans to deliver the presents.
Thank you to National Express for giving us a double decker bus and a driver, so the non riders could still be a part of the day.
Thank you to NCP for letting us use their carpark, This made parking a lot easier this year.
A BIG THANK YOU to all that showed up despite the weather and donated. Without you all we wouldn’t be able to do the work we do !!!!
